Meet Dave

Dave and Barb HunterDave has been working with mason bees for almost 20 years. What started as a backyard hobby has turned into a unique business that engages backyard gardeners and orchardists to fill an emerging pollination requirement for commercial orchards. He is committed to running an ethical and scientifically-sanctioned company to ensure that mason bees are raised in optimal environments.

Prior to running Hunter’s Mason Bees, Dave was the director of a project management office for DHL and the director of real estate for Airborne Express/DHL.

Dave’s main encourager is Barb, his wife of 25 years. He also has 3 children – Christine, Matt, and Nick, each of whom has assisted him with various mason bee activities!
